Who we are

Asian Journal of Applied Communication (AJAC) previously (known as Global Media Journal (GMJ) is the official publication of the Global Network of Communication Scholars. AJAC is hosted by the Center for Global Studies at Purdue University Calumet, Hammond, Indiana, USA. AJAC is managed by the Department of Communication, Faculty of Modern Languages and Communication, Universiti Putra Malaysia. The content of AJAC is edited by Associate Professor Dr. Zulhamri Abdullah, Universiti Putra Malaysia.

Scope

The AJAC publishes scholarship with a focus on strategic communication and media studies. The journal caters for social scientists, professors, researchers, post-docs, scholars, practitioners and graduate students who wish to promote and communicate advances in the specialized fields of journalism, advertising, broadcasting, Information, Communication and Technology (ICT), organizational communication, public relations, corporate communication, and development communication. The journal is published in English and Malay and it is open to authors around the world. AJAC accepts manuscripts for consideration throughout the year and publishes in June and December.
